The Official Newsletter of the Institute of National Economic Enrichment and Development - The 'I.N.E.E.D'
Welcome To Scientific Discovery!
This is the third edition of Scientific Discovery which is a monthly publication for the members of the institute and the followers of the ORE-STEM development throughout the world. Towards the year 2000 the institute will set out the necessity and reasons to why we have to build the ORE complex for the benefit of mankind. This will take the form of international analysis and their comparison with the United Kingdom and other ‘Westernised’ nations together with an insight into the socio-economic implications for the advanced industrialised nations of the world.
News of the ORE-STEM Complex
Direct contact has been made between Clr. Pat Doyle, Leader of Kingston-upon-Hull City Council; Clr. Laurie Johnson, Chairman of the Board, Humber Bridge Board; Clr. David Spooner, Chairman of the Board, Humberside International Airport Board; Dennis Dunn Port Manager for Grimsby and Immingham; Mike Fell, Port Manager for Hull and Roger Evans, Bridge Master, the Humber Bridge (until recently the largest single span suspension bridge in the world) so that the ORE-STEM development can hopefully go forward in concert with the European Secretariat and North Lincolnshire Council. The ORE will have a formidable affect on all of these concerns whilst being developed and when fully operational.
Names of the Arterial Road Networks within the ORE-STEM complex
The institute is considering nominations of people from the history of science and technology for the naming of roads, streets and main thoroughfares that will eventually be adopted for the ORE complex. Sir Isaac Newton Highway, Watson, Crick and Wilkins Road, Michael Faraday Orbital, Andrew Schally Boulevard, Glenn Seaborg Street and Albert Einstein Road are some that have already been presented. Council Members and readers from throughout the world are therefore requested to submit relevant names from the past and present history of science and technology that they wish the ORE to be associated with for the celebration of creative human endeavour.
Design Funding
A further $US10.000 in funding has been received from sponsors for the next phase of the conceptional design stage of the ORE bringing total design funding to date to $US17,000. With over $US160,000 being required for this part of the overall strategic plan, all donations no matter how small are gratefully received.
